Data submitted in one of our contact forms is stored for answering your specific inquiry only. Further processing of this data does not occur.

Processing of your data submitted occurs based on your consent (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can withdraw your consent anytime by an informal mail. All data processed until your withdrawal remains legitimate.

Data remains stored until you ask for deletion, withdraw your consent of us storing your data, or we no longer have a need to store them. Legal requirements (e.g. legal retention periods) remain unaffected.

REGISTRATION DATA

In addition to the data mentioned above, we inform you that we process the following data should you sign up for services with us:

  • Your personal data is processed for the purpose of billing for services you've ordered from us
  • Your personal data will be stored for the period you keep your account with us open
  • Your personal data will not be disclosed to any third party
  • You have the right to request rectification or erasure of your personal data or restriction of processing of your personal data or to object to such processing
  • If you consider that our processing of your personal information infringes data protection laws, you are entitled to complain to the Supervisory Authority competent for your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement

DOMAIN REGISTRATION

In case you register for a domain with us, by default we hide your data from the registry for your privacy. Only if you explicitly ask us to, we provide your personal data to the registry, which will then be visible in public "whois" services.

EMAIL NEWSLETTER

In case you subscribed to our email newsletter, we register your email address using a double opt-in method. This data will be deleted should you opt-out of your registration.

WEB ANALYTICS (MATOMO)

Legal basis: In accordance with § 25 TDDDG (Telekommunikation-Digitale-Dienste-Datenschutz-Gesetz) and Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a GDPR, we require your consent before collecting analytics data.

What we collect (only with your consent):

  • The website from which you visited us (referrer)
  • The pages you visit on our site
  • The date and duration of your visit
  • Your anonymized IP address (last two octets removed)
  • Device information (device type, operating system, screen resolution, language, approximate location, and browser type)

How we process this data: We use Matomo Analytics, a self-hosted, open-source analytics platform running on our own infrastructure in Germany. Your data is not shared with any third party and never leaves the European Union.

Purpose: We process this information for statistical purposes, to improve our websites, and to recognize and prevent misuse.

Without consent: If you do not consent to analytics tracking, no data will be collected about your visit. The website remains fully functional.

Data retention: Analytics data is automatically deleted after 26 months.

Withdraw consent: You can withdraw your consent at any time using the option below. Previously collected data remains legitimate until deletion.

COOKIES

We use cookies (small data files stored on your device) for the following purposes:

  • Essential cookies: Required for basic website functionality (e.g., language preference). These do not require consent.
  • Analytics cookies: Used by Matomo to recognize returning visitors. These are only set with your consent.

You may deactivate or restrict cookies by changing your browser settings. Cookies already stored may be deleted at any time.

SERVER LOG FILES

The web servers hosting this website keep log files containing your IP address and browser version. This data is used solely for security purposes (preventing abuse) and debugging in case of technical failures. Log files are automatically deleted after 30 days. This processing is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f GDPR) in maintaining a secure and functional website.

SOCIAL MEDIA

When you interact with us via social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, GitHub, X/Twitter), your personal data is processed by those platforms under their respective privacy policies. We may process personal data you provide through social media (such as name, email address, company, telephone number) to respond to your requests or develop a business relationship. Legal basis: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b GDPR (contract performance) or Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest).
